The “iMp” International Musical Project is based on my idea about searching a new quality of musical expression to be achieved by bringing together musicians representing various musical cultures (the classical, among them) who are jazz improvisers as well. For the first edition of the IMP to come true in 2009 I invited Jon Fält, a leading Swedish drummer of young generation, and a Polish trumpeter Piotr Damasiewicz to take part.
