Listen up, dear friends of Hard Rock-influenced Metal-sounds! With 'Out Of The Ashes, Into The Fire' POWER THEORY from the United States (Pennsylvania) present - after it was published originally as a self-release last year in December - their debut-album through us, which is heavily marked by bands like Saxon and Co., but nevertheless have a completely own touch. The quartet came together in 2007, before the debut already a CD-single and one independent-EP simply entitled 'Metal Forever' was released. The slightly raspy, smoky vocals make some traditionalists also certainly think of names like Metal Church (in its David Wayne-phase) and sometimes even old Metallica, but even from time to time it sounds like a young Biff Byford. Sometimes you can hear a few Bay Area-Thrash-influences in the sound, but mainly POWER THEORY play uncompromising, classic and catchy sing-along-Heavy Metal in its purest form. Also the tender side of the hard rockers is shown with the power ballad 'When The Rain Comes Down' or the purely acoustic instrumental 'Uriel's Tears'. The ?-hour long, eleven tracks comprehensive work has been mastered by Achim Köhler, who already worked with acts such as Primal Fear and Brainstorm. Let’s say it ultimately with the succinct phrase: Hard rockin 'metal for hard rockin' people!
